Transportation
Barbara Jordan Career Center Transportation Policy:
To ensure student safety and maintain order, the following transportation guidelines apply to all students attending the Barbara Jordan Career Center (BJCC):
Bus Transportation:
Students are required to ride the designated school bus to and from BJCC unless they are being dropped off by a parent or guardian.
Drop-Off Procedures:
Students may only be dropped off in the school parking lot. Drop-offs at the sidewalk are strictly prohibited. Students cannot walk through the front gate.
Driving to BJCC:
Students are not permitted to drive themselves to BJCC. Any student who does so will be directed to immediately return to their home campus to check-in with administration.
Bus Conduct and Suspension:
Misconduct on the bus may result in the loss of bus privileges. If a student is suspended from the bus, they must arrange alternate transportation to and from BJCC. Failure to secure alternate transportation may result in unexcused absences or placement in In-School Suspension (ISS) or another designated area at the student’s home campus for the duration of the suspension.
